Rhino Motion uses a camera cable to communicate to your camera when in Advance Time Lapse mode. It triggers your camera’s shutter to take a picture when it’s not moving.
A camera cable of your choice is included with your purchase of Rhino Motion and is long enough to work on our 24” Rhino Slider EVO.
When using Advanced Time Lapse mode with a 42” Rhino Slider EVO you have two options to make the cable reach to the end of the slider.
Option 1: Dock your controller and use an Extension Cable
Simply plug in the included camera cable into your camera’s port and insert the extension cable in between Rhino Motion and the camera cable. The extension is 3’ long and can be purchasedhere.
Option 2: Use a Magic Arm (if you’re using 2 tripods)
Attach any standard ¼-20 or ⅜-16 magic arm to the center plate of your slider. Using the velcro on the Tripod Dock, attach the dock to the magic arm. This creates a center mounting point for your Rhino Motion controller so that your cable will reach to the end.
